Mihai Botarel is an Executive Creative Director and co-founder of RXM Creative, an award-winning agency based in New York, focused on integrated campaigns, social media, and branded content. Over the past 16 years, he has worked with global brands such as Ray-Ban, L’Oréal, Christian Louboutin, Tabasco, Loro Piana, and Under Armour, developing campaigns that combine creativity with cultural relevance.
His work includes projects like Instagram Menu, The Social Ego, Clickbait for Good, and Not Another Second, featured in publications such as The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Guardian, and NBC News. Before founding RXM, Mihai held creative roles at agencies including Dentsu’s 360i, Tribal, DDB Düsseldorf, Leo Burnett, and Ogilvy, working on international brands like Toyota, Canon, and Coca-Cola. His work has been recognized at major international festivals, including Cannes Lions, Clio, ADC Europe, Eurobest, and New York Festivals.
Alongside his agency work, Mihai has contributed to industry publications, lectured at Columbia University, and taught at Miami Ad School.
